VPN and Hot spotting

can someone tell me, if i have bitdefender vpn running on my phone and i am tethered to my laptop with a hotspot off my telephone, if my laptop is covered under the vpn for my activity or do i need to run the vpn program on my laptop as well.

Hello,

If you connect the VPN then enable a hotspot, the traffic will be encrypted on that hotspot, meaning that your laptop will also benefit from a secure VPN connection in this scenario.
